In 1995 Alicia decided to attend Culinary school at Cabrillo College in Aptos, California. There she specialized in pastry and baking and earned an A.S Degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management.

" I loved Culinary School, I learned so much about the actual Science of cooking and baking".

Alicia has been cooking and baking professionally ever since. Some of her previous employers include: The Buttery, Black China Bakery, The Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa, Boulevard in San Francisco, and Harrah's Lake Tahoe.

Alicia Hartle is a wife and mother of two lovely girls. Valuing family (like we all do), Alicia decided to work for herself. With a baby on her hip, Alicia's Cakes and Catering was born in 2002. Alicia's direction was clear. To only use real ingredients and to bake for others as she does for her family.

" Every one of my products I would give to my children to eat ".
